BES Group of Institutions was founded by Sri B.L.LakkeGowda, (Spl.Deputy Commissioner) Retd., BES Evening college of Arts and Commerce was started as an evening section of the Day BES college in the year 1971 and it was only in the year 1984-85 it got its identity as BES Evening college of Arts and Commerce.
Since then the evening college has been doing its best to help the employed youth to pursue their education. The college is located in a sprawling campus area of 4.4 acres with well designed concrete structure with a lot of greenery and lung space. It is located in the heart of the city on 16th main, 4th Block, Jayanagar, Bangalore and students working in any part of the city can very conveniently commute to and from the college at all times of the day and night.
Keeping in mind the Vision – Mission and motto of the college all students interested in pursuing their education, irrespective of class, age, caste or sex are given admission to the evening college. The college is affiliated to Bangalore University and Bangalore Central University and is also included under section 2(f) and 12 B of the UGC Act-1956.
