Higher Education today has entered an arena of immense opportunities of innovation and growth. It has thrown up varied implications regarding access, management, efficiency, equity, pedagogy and quality. In keeping with technology, teaching has become an interesting challenge.
Student centric learning has taken newer dimensions with ICT. Efficiency in terms of class room delivery, performance and competence is increased due to ICT.
BES Evening College also encourages its staff to use ICT in classrooms. Many faculty members make power point presentations, encourage students to make presentations, use movie clippings, documentaries and short films to make students understand various concepts in their syllabus.
The college infrastructure has a business lab, and seminar hall with LCD facilities and the library has LCD as well as internet connection. All the class rooms have wi-fi connections.
